WebPen uses cutting edge signature authentication technology, Signature Embedded Authentication, to actually encode the name of the signer, the date of the signing, the IP address of the signer, and the HTML code of the signed document directly within the signature image, creating a positive association between the signature and the document. This information can be viewed using any software capable of displaying IPTC image metadata. WebPen provides capability to upload a scan of an identifying document and associate it with the signature. WebPen now has automatic generation of a PDF copy of the signed document. The free version has watermark behind signature, the commercial version does not.
